Question #1: How does the \"Love of Christ\" constraint us?

It may not.  Paul is referring to new life in Christ where he lives without the constraint of Old Testament rules.  For one to be ruled by love, love must be the foundation of his faith.  Paul had served the Jews religion with zeal, for the letters of the law. Now he serves God with zeal, born of love.

The New commandment was Love.  The Law of Christ was Love.  This new law is written on the heart by the spirit of God within and Paul is letting love do her perfect work.

Paul is a pattern for all Christians to remove all religious restraints and live as unto Christ in newness of Life.

When Paul was a servant in the Old Testament house of Moses he was constrained by those laws. Now he is a bondservant in the New Testament house of Christ and constrained by the law of Christ.

Question #2: Jesus opened up a relationship with God that was not experienced since before the fall of Adam, what then did the relationship between lets say David and God look like? There was a friendship and faith but there was no spiritual life and the indwelling of the spirit, so how did David’s relationship with God differ from what we have after Jesus gave us life?

This is a very good question and everyone needs to come to some conclusion about it.  It is also difficult to explain because it involves spiritual things and a spiritual relationship requires our imagination.  Jesus did establish a new family relationship for man with god, but this is new and different from the created family.  David had spiritual life but not regeneration as provided by Jesus, in new life.  Adam and Eve had divine life from the creation giving them the same nature as God but they began life as adults with programmed instincts for life in the garden, they had no memory of Life when created.   A Christian is regenerated, retraining the memory of life in degeneration, which began when procreated.  They could not be regenerated as created because degeneration must precede regeneration.  The corrupt seed of Adam is the source of degeneration and senescence in all the wombs of mankind. This is why the incorruptible seed in Mary’s womb did not result in corruption for the procreated offspring.  For a better understanding of procreated life see “The Seed of the Woman” by Arthur Custance, or go to the “Foundational Tab” on this web site and listen to the message, “Saved from Syn and Sin”.  When David said that he was conceived in sin he did not mean that his parents were sinning when he was conceived, rather that he was born in degeneration under The Law of Sin and Death.  This makes him a candidate for regeneration under The Law of the Spirit of Life in Christ.  There is a difference in David and the Christian.  David lived his flesh life in covenant with his God as monarch in the Kingdom of God.  Christians are Sons of God in a spiritual covenant.  David was in the kingdom of God in his generation.  Now the Kingdom of God is in the sons of God in their regeneration.

Question #3: If Jesus was rewarded with glory was it because of His suffering? His faith? His obedience? What were Jesus\' rewards? Was He rewarded FOR anything besides His faith? -- His suffering for example?

If by Glory you mean his resurrection then it was because of his death.  He was the first fruits of the Regeneration.  He was the first one to benefit from his death, which opened the gates of hell for naked spirits (spirits without a body) in paradise.  Glory is a very big word with many meanings.  Glory is in the eye of the beholder.  Jesus was glorified in the eyes of his father God by his faithful obedience, which is what put him on the cross where he died.

Jesus is the first to receive a glorified body.  I don’t know if we should call this a reward or not.  Many Old Testament saints with faith were simply rewarded with a good report.  They died and their spirits went to Abraham’s bosom in sheol (or hell), where Jesus would come at his death to glorify them with himself in regeneration.  We cannot separate Jesus suffering from his faith because faith is why he suffered.  Jesus is a prophet sent by God to his people and will be killed like the prophets before him.  His disciples would likewise be sent to these same people and be killed.  Jesus suffered in his spirit for 3 years of ministry to his people.  He did suffer in the flesh on the cross as anyone would in crucifixion, but the ransom is only paid in death.  He was born to die and until he dies he has not finished his commission.
